Lily Allen supports David Harbour’s ex through emotional struggles

Alison Sudol, known for playing Queenie in the Fantastic Beasts films, revealed the emotional struggles she faced after her breakup with David Harbour.

The 40-year-old shared that during the last months of their relationship in early 2019, she felt “confused, adrift and mentally unravelled” while living in New York.

Alison posted a photo of herself lying on a bed, explaining that even though she carefully decorated her apartment, it didn’t feel like home.

“I had chosen almost every item in it but it didn’t feel like home.

I was a kind of sad that drifted in and out of focus,” Alison wrote.

The star also admitted that she struggled to understand her feelings and tried to fix herself even though she couldn’t change the situation.

However, Alison dated David for a year before he confirmed his relationship with singer Lily Allen.

Looking back, The Secrets of Dumbledore star said the experience taught her to be careful about who she lets into her life and helped her rebuild her sense of self over the following six years.

Her post received support from Lily, who left a red heart emoji. The singer and songwriter recently released her album West End Girl, sharing her own painful experiences with David, including discovering his affair.

Now in a long-term relationship with actor Tom Cullen and mother to two daughters, Alison described her path to healing.

“No arrows in backs. No standing on heads. Just folding laundry together laughing,” she said, showing how she has found peace and happiness after difficult chapter in her life.

For the unversed, David Harbour’s representatives have not commented on Alison’s post.
