Elsie Hewitt revealed she has been living in “absolute agony” during her pregnancy with Pete Davidson’s first child.
The 29-year-old model shared an emotional update on her Instagram Story on Friday, saying the pain is so severe that she can “barely walk.”
Hewitt explained that she has tried multiple methods to ease the discomfort, including acupuncture, stretching, exercise, steroid injections and energy healing, but nothing has helped.
She told her followers, “At this point, if you can think of something to do about the pain, I have tried it.
Ihave tried everything, and it’s only getting worse and I cannot walk.”
The model linked her suffering to long-standing health conditions, including endometriosis and Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, a connective-tissue disorder affecting joints, skin and mobility.
However, the beauty icon asked for some advice from women who have experienced same pregnancy and birth with hEDS, hoping for guidance and a sense of hope.
Hewitt, however, previously discussed her endometriosis diagnosis and her fears about infertility before announcing her pregnancy in July.
She said surgery helped both to manage her symptoms and preserve her chance of becoming a mother.
As the pregnancy reaches its final stages, Hewitt admitted to feeling nervous about giving birth.
Whereas, Davidson, 32, has been supportive, encouraging her to rest and remain calm.
Earlier this year, the Saturday Night Live star expressed guilt over the lack of privacy surrounding their pregnancy, saying he wished that his girlfriend could have enjoyed it without public scrutiny.
Moreover, Elise and Pete became Instagram official in March, made their red carpet debut in May, and revealed their pregnancy in July with a sonogram photo.
