The Atlanta Falcons got off to a quick start to open the 2025 season. Both running and passing the football proved to be effective on the team’s opening drive against Tampa Bay. With the ball at the 50 yard-line, second-year quarterback Michael Penix jr checked it down to running back Bijan Robinson, who sprinted through the Bucs defense for the score.
Atlanta now holds a 7-0 lead with the offense getting the ball right back after the defense forced a thee-and-out. Thus far Robinson has three catches for 67 receiving yards and a touchdown. Watch the play below, as shared by the team’s social media account below.
