The Kansas City Chiefs are heading to Florida for their Monday Night Football matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Head coach Andy Reid addressed reporters on Saturday, revealing an injury to rookie defensive lineman Omarr Norman-Lott.
Norman-Lott didn’t practice for the Chiefs on Saturday due to a shoulder injury, according to Reid. “He hurt his shoulder yesterday, and they’ll just see how he does over the next few days. I think he should be ok”, said Reid regarding Norman-Lott’s long-term status.
Since receiving more playing time after the injury to veteran Mike Danna, Lott has recorded five tackles and one sack. Every other player practiced on Saturday as Kansas City prepares to battle a talented Jaguars team with playmakers on both sides of the ball.
Kansas City’s second-round selection in the 2025 NFL Draft began his college career at Arizona State but transferred to the University of Tennessee. In two seasons with the Volunteers, he collected 44 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, and one fumble recovery.
