After capturing the 2025 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series championship on Friday night at Phoenix, Corey Heim gave his girlfriend, Taylor Reimer, a ride around in his #11 truck for a celebratory victory lap. The moment caught the attention of retired NASCAR legend Mark Martin, who deemed the two as a “power couple” in the sport.

The moment was captured by an X user by the name Steven Taranto, who noted that Heim helped Reiner into the passenger’s side of his #11 Toyota for a victory lap up to the championship stage, where he later accepted the 2025 title trophy. The user wrote:

“Corey Heim just put his girlfriend in the passenger’s side of his truck for a victory lap to the championship stage. fellas how can we even compete with this”

This sparked Mark Martin to quote post Taranto and give props to Heim and Reiner for being a NASCAR power couple. He wrote:

Corey Heim won a record 12 races in the 2025 CRAFTSMAN Truck Series season, the most by a driver in a single campaign. The Tricon Garage driver registered 19 top-five finishes, seven poles, and an average finish of 5.04. The Georgia native outran Ty Majeski, Kaden Honeycutt, and Tyler Ankrum in the championship race to take home the title.

Corey Heim has 23 career victories in the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series, which ranks sixth on the all-time wins list. On the Xfinity Series side, Heim has made 20 starts and posted six top-10 finishes. At the Cup level, Heim has seven career starts with one top-10 finish.

Mark Martin pulling for Denny Hamlin in Cup championship race at Phoenix

Mark Martin took to social media on Sunday to make it known who he’s rooting for in the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series championship race. The NASCAR Hall of Famer said he’s pulling for Denny Hamlin “for all the right reasons” as he hopes the driver of the #11 finally captures a Cup Series title.

In an X post, Mark Martin said he’s hopeful Hamlin wins the championship for not just all the right reasons, but he doesn’t want to see one of the most successful drivers in the sport go out without winning a title.

“I’m pulling for @dennyhamlin to win the Championship today for all the right reasons. BUT also so one of the most successful drivers in this era won’t have to listen to the idiotic (never won a championship) from haters. The trophy doesn’t define the entire body of work,” Mark Martin said.

Mark Martin last competed in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2013. He was one of the most successful drivers to have never won a championship as he earned 40 career victories at the Cup level.
